1988
The birth of poly3 - innovation in gelcoat productionIn 1988, we drew inspiration from Agritech, a leading manufacturer of silos, with the aim from the outset of producing gelcoat, a plastic coating for fiberglass products. Initial production, around 200 tons per year, marked the beginning of a journey of growth and innovation.
1991
Obtained international certificationsIn the early 1990s, we obtained our first international certifications for the nautical industry from Lloyd's Register of Shipping and the Italian Naval Register, and for the food industry from Ianesco, confirming our commitment to the quality and safety of our products. These certifications underscore the level of excellence achieved in the production of gelcoats and resins.
1992
Expansion into the domestic fibreglass marketFollowing the certifications obtained, we decided to broaden our horizons, aiming to become one of the leading Italian manufacturers in the fiberglass sector. While maintaining our ties with the holding company Agritech, this decisive step towards the national market marks the beginning of an important phase of growth.
1994
Product diversification and production growthTo meet the needs of different market segments, we have expanded our production to include coloring pastes and bonding pastes. Annual production has risen to 500 tons. We have also distinguished ourselves with our “full optional” service, which includes the resale of complementary products for the fiberglass sector, consolidating our leadership position.
1998
The international expansion of poly3Founded over 35 years ago, Poly3 has evolved from a small local workshop to a trusted partner in the global composites market. Our story is built on research, expertise, and enduring relationships.
2006
New infrastructure for continued growthTo support growth and development, in 2006 we decided to move to new premises. The existing space was no longer sufficient for the ambitions of the company, which continued to expand, becoming a benchmark in the gelcoat and resin production market, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
2024
The renovation and the new laboratoryWith the aim of renovating and upgrading our company premises in order to respond more efficiently to growing market demands and new quality standards, in 2024 we carried out a major renovation of our headquarters, particularly the laboratory and production area, the two nerve centers of our business.
Today, we continue to be competitive on both the domestic and international markets.
